Jackson's new toy...

New floors!

Brian and his Dad spent all weekend putting new performance wood floors in my office.... I LOVE IT!!

Jackson took advantage of the open space to play a little raquetball in the room.   :)

WHEW! I have some catching up to do!! We had a whirlwind 8 day trip to Kansas, and getting ready for that, and recouperating from that has thrown me off my game!!

I'll post a few pics today, trying to catch up a little.

Here's a picture of Brian, wearing his "Danny and the Miracles" tee shirt from the KU 1988 Championship team. My mom bought it for him for his B-Day, and I think he's worn it every day since he got it!

Then, of course, if the camera comes out, Kierstin gets silly!

Our blog today is featuring... KIERSTIN! She's FAR more into being photographed than Jackson these days... I don't love my son less, he just is less of a ham for the camera. :)

It's a Dog PAR-TAY! Today we had a "dog social" at the local park. We don't yet have a dog park in town, but the city organized a place for the dogs to play today for an hour. They got to go on the baseball field that is all fenced in, and run and play without a leash. Chopper had SO MUCH FUN, and has been snoring away ever since we got home!

For every holiday, Kierstin's Great Grandma Reed sends her a box full of all kinds of goodies! Her box for this Valentine's Day included a feather boa, two watercolor paint books, a bridal veil, some jewelry, and this Spidergirl dress... among other things. Kierstin was so excited with this costume, she put it on right away!

Sledding Day 2! Kierstin is FAR more brave on day two! She wanted to go by herself almost every run, and by the end of the day was even going on her tummy face first! Crazy girl!

Again, it was very warm, 45-50 degrees, and was absolutely GORGEOUS!

SLEDDING! What better way to spend Valentine's day?!

One of the things that we LOVE about Phoenix is the weather... Not only that we don't have to deal with ice and snow, but that if we do decide that we want to play in the snow, we have a short 2 1/2 hour drive north with snow galore!

Today we drove up to Flagstaff to go sledding. We're going to stay overnight, sled some more tomorrow, and then drive back home. Flag has had 208" of snow so far this year, so there's PLENTY of snow... but even better than that, it was 50* today! So we got to enjoy the snow, without freezing our thin blooded Phoenix tooshies off!
