Kierstin hasn't quite mastered writing her own name yet (That "K" is TOUGH!) but she is writing the name of her best friend! Here, she wrote Chopper's name all by herself! (Mommy just spelled it)

Our blog today is featuring... KIERSTIN! She's FAR more into being photographed than Jackson these days... I don't love my son less, he just is less of a ham for the camera. :)
Kierstin getting ready for school. She tells me that her teacher says, "One on the hip, and one on the lips" and that's what she's demonstrating. HA HA!
And a picture of her cute hair for today...

It's a Dog PAR-TAY! Today we had a "dog social" at the local park. We don't yet have a dog park in town, but the city organized a place for the dogs to play today for an hour. They got to go on the baseball field that is all fenced in, and run and play without a leash. Chopper had SO MUCH FUN, and has been snoring away ever since we got home!

For every holiday, Kierstin's Great Grandma Reed sends her a box full of all kinds of goodies! Her box for this Valentine's Day included a feather boa, two watercolor paint books, a bridal veil, some jewelry, and this Spidergirl dress... among other things. Kierstin was so excited with this costume, she put it on right away!

SLEDDING! What better way to spend Valentine's day?!
One of the things that we LOVE about Phoenix is the weather... Not only that we don't have to deal with ice and snow, but that if we do decide that we want to play in the snow, we have a short 2 1/2 hour drive north with snow galore!
Today we drove up to Flagstaff to go sledding. We're going to stay overnight, sled some more tomorrow, and then drive back home. Flag has had 208" of snow so far this year, so there's PLENTY of snow... but even better than that, it was 50* today! So we got to enjoy the snow, without freezing our thin blooded Phoenix tooshies off!
Here's Jackson and Kierstin on the sled together...
...and mama with sissy and Jackson

It's time to get ready for Valentine's Day!!!
Kierstin is having a Valentine's party at BOTH of her pre-school classes, so she has lots of cards to write (about 40). I thought she wouldn't be too into it, that she'd do a couple, then quit, so we started early to get them done throughout the week. Boy was I wrong! She took her box of 36 cards, and did every single one in one setting! I wrote her name in pink highlighter, and she traced it with a pen. Great practice for her!

Super Bowl Sunday! We had a pretty low key Super Bowl this year... Amy brought the boys over, the kids played, and we watched football. It was nice. :) I realized as they were leaving that I'd forgotten to take any pictures... so here are all the kids by the door, getting ready to go home. HA HA. Jackson and Kierstin, Cameron and Caden.
